The Australian Beef Industry Foundation
The Australian Beef Industry Foundation (formerly the Angus Education & Research Foundation) was established on 6th February 2001 as a charitable foundation through incorporation as a Company Limited by Guarantee. Constitutionally and operationally, the Foundation is independent of The Angus Society of Australia.
The Foundation with its logo (above) and latest brochure was officially launched by Professor Bernie Bindon at the Beef Quality CRC Marbling Symposium dinner in Coffs Harbour on 9th October 2001.
The charter for the Foundation is as follows:
Attracting, educating and retaining young people in all aspects of the supply chain to create a smarter, more profitable and sustainable Australian beef industry
